Hands Across the Border is a cross border initiative involving the Irish Patchwork Society and the Northern Ireland Patchwork Guild. It consists of biennial exhibitions rotating between the two organisations. In this, the 30th year of the partnership, the Irish Patchwork Society hosts the exhibition Hanging Together Again with work from members of both organisations. The Irish Patchwork Society was founded in 1981 and this year we are celebrating our 40th Anniversary. The Northern Ireland Patchwork Guild celebrated their 40th Anniversary in 2019.
