SUMMARY:Holding Space | Sara Baume &amp\; Mollie Douthit at Molesworth Gall
 ery
DESCRIPTION:\nNovember 7th - 28th\n\n\n\nHolding Space presents a collabora
tion between Mollie Douthit and Sara Baume. The exhibition includes painti
ngs\, sculpture and needlework\, all reflecting the artists’ common proc
ess of building pieces gradually\, ritualistically\, with a great deal of
solicitude.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;Both also share a curiosity in spirituality and
mysticism\, which is referenced by the gap at the centre of the handkerchi
efs Baume will be showing\, which has also become a signifier of their fri
endship. Douthit\, her paintings and their friendship are also the subject
of Baume's forthcoming book\, Opening Night\, which will be published by
Granta in the summer of 2026.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n
