DESCRIPTION:Backwater Artists Group is delighted to present "In the Presenc
 e of Beings"\, a solo exhibition by studio member\, Seán Hanrahan. This n
 ew body of work takes its inspiration from ‘Visions of Genius\,’ a maj
 or Hieronymus Bosch exhibition in his native city\, ‘s-Hertogenbosch\, N
 etherlands\, which Hanrahan visited in 2016. The Haywain triptych in parti
 cular captivated Hanrahan and sparked an interest in ontology\, the branch
  of metaphysics dealing with the nature of being.\n\n\n\n
