DESCRIPTION:Join Shreya Shah for the opening of her first solo show on 20th
  August\, 6pm at Gallery X\, Dublin.No booking required\, there will be so
 me Indian snacks and drinks.\nArtist Bio: Shreya Shah is an Indian artist\
 , originally from the west of India (Gujarat). She moved to Ireland 8 year
 s ago and studied part-time at NCAD. The Indian education system shaped he
 r to pursue engineering\, but it never resonated with her being. She alway
 s painted to feed her soul and recently quit her corporate tech job to fol
 low her heart.\nIrish and Indian ancient spiritual practices inspire Shrey
 a's work\, with fire being a central theme of her solo show. Through this 
 body of work\, Shreya is connecting to her ‘Inner Fire’ and inviting t
 he viewers to interact with the works and further tend to their inner fire
 .\nShreya's multi-disciplinary arts practice includes paintings\, installa
 tions and socially engaged ceremonies/meditations. As part of this solo ex
 hibition\, there will be a fire ceremony with Kali dance in a forest near 
 Dublin\, and some meditations and women's circles inside the gallery space
