SUMMARY:Interactive Space | An Odd Job at VISUAL Carlow
DESCRIPTION:\nWelcome to the artist job centre!\n\n\n\nWhat job could you i
magine in your wildest dreams? What if you got paid to put whoppee cushion
s on all the seats in the train\, or make recordings of all the birds in y
our neighbourhood. Artists invent their own jobs.\n\n\n\nArtists might spe
nd everyday drawing or dancing\; making sculptures in supermarkets or perf
ormances on football pitches. They might decide to make an enormous piece
of clothing or bury a time capsule. Doing the job of an artist isn't just
about making artworks in galleries\, it's about asking big questions\, dre
aming up ideas and imagining new ways of being in the world.\n\n\n\nThis a
ll-ages interactive space invites you to step into an imaginary universe w
here there are no rules and no limits to what an artist can do. Here\, you
get to imagine\, design and create your very own artistic job — a role
that lets you explore\, question\, play and express yourself.\n\n\n\n\n
