  Meitheal – A Gathering of Seaweed and Shore People” an exhibition by 
 a West Clare Coastal Community at Coosheen\, Lat 52.716224 N / Long 9.6160
 49 W.\n\nThis project is funded by Clare County Council’s Creative Irela
 nd fund.\n\nThis exhibition’s ‘tideline’ reimagines the process and 
 methods used to gather and harvest Seaweed feams/sea rods on the foreshore
 \, the construction of a Kelp drying stand\, a Kelp burning pit and the bu
 rning of the Kelp as it was done over one hundred years ago as a raw mater
 ial towards the production of iodine.
