Ladies and Gentlemen | Daragh Soden at Rathfarnham Castle

PhotoIreland Festival 2022 launches at 6pm Thursday 7th July, returning to The Printworks in Dublin Castle, where we first launched our public-facing research project Museum of Contemporary Photography of Ireland back in 2019.

We continue this line of enquiry with a very special edition of the festival, providing a survey of contemporary Irish photographic practices, with many new, as well as established, voices.

Following the launch of the festival, we open a new exhibition by Daragh Soden in Rathfarnham Castle at 6pm Friday 8th July. This never before seen work Ladies & Gentlemen is a series of large format portraits that raises questions around gender roles, photographer-subject relationships and the performativity of identity.
