In November 2021 Grace O’Leary, Clara McSweeney and Chloe-Louise Scanlan were awarded a Graduate Residency here at The Darkroom. ‘Misaligned’ is a group show where the three artists look at the effect of the environment through mental health, housing and conservation. The exhibition concludes the residency period, opening on Tuesday February 22 and running until Friday March 11. Opening Night on February 22 from 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome!

Grace O’Leary is a recent graduate of the National College of Art and Design, with a BA (Hons) in⁠ Printmaking and Critical Cultures. A current studio member of A4sounds, Grace’s practice is⁠ concerned with the built environment that surrounds her which she explores through photographic⁠ processes. IG: @graceyoleary

Chloe-Louise Scanlan is an Irish visual artist who enjoys combining photography with sculpture, moving image, sound and various art mediums where appropriate. While her work is concerned with social commentary it also deals with self-expression and the celebration of the image as a physical object. Chloe is a graduate of IADT Photography. IG: @biteslice_

Clara McSweeney is a graduate of Fine Art Painting and Contemporary Practice at Limerick School of Art and Design. She received the Innovation in Practice award 2020 and is a member of Limerick PrintMakers and Miscreating Sculpture Studios. She was awarded ‘runner-up’ in The 2021 Screaming Pope Prize and won The Professional Development Award from The Arts Council of Ireland. IG: @clara_mcsweeney_art
