Online Exhibition | Rural Pop Art from Brittany

Online Exhibition | Rural Pop Art from Brittany

30/04/2021 - 21/05/2021

Event Type

Artists are non artists, they are residents of a small Village NIZON in Brittany.

The initiative was conducted by Yves Quentel from HANGAR’T ( a non profit association).

The paintings depict rural heritage from a small community in Brittany . HANGAR’T invited and involved residents to bring old photographs and share their stories and convert those into POP ART paintings.

It is an innovative way to keep the memories alive.

This association will host a workshop in County Galway in May 2022 so that Galway residents from rural communities can also share their stories.

This is an initiative to celebrate Brittany Day (FÊTE de la BRETAGNE) of the GalwayLorient Twinning committee @GalwayLorient and for more details please contact
