With February comes a new free online film series, this time dedicated to the Spanish actress Ángela Molina — one of the most outstanding actresses in Spanish cinematography — who will be awarded the Goya of Honour at the Goya Awards 2021.
The series, presented by Instituto Cervantes Dublin, will start with the film La Sabina (1979), then it will be the turn of La mitad del cielo (1986) and it will close with Las cosas del querer (1989).

Ángela Molina is one of the most outstanding actresses in Spanish cinematography. She began her career in the middle of the Spanish transition to democracy and continues to work today. Her career has been marked by participation in numerous international films, of which her collaboration with Buñuel was the kick-start. On the occasion of such a brilliant career, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will award her the Goya Prize of Honour at the 2021 edition of these awards: “With this distinction we want to recognise the exceptional career of this colleague so loved by all for her authenticity, her undeniable talent and her special sensitivity.

Movies will be available on the Instituto Cervantes Vimeo channel for 48 hours from 7:00 p.m. every Friday of February.
