What does skateboarding mean to you? is a 12 minute documentary made by visual artist Niall Kurb Junki Cullen. The video was shot at a recent event in the Sugar Club, Dublin, where Goblin Magazine launched their third issue which publishes photography, stories and artwork that echo the community aspect of Irish skateboarding.

Niall KJ Cullen is a contemporary visual artist working in paint, print, video and performance. His practice investigates public space while also delving into his roots in skateboarding and graffiti culture. He is a recipient of the Arts Council Agility Award 2021 and was recently commissioned by DCC and Culture Night to create a five story high projection mapped sculpture titled Ephemeral Monument. He currently works in a studio on North Circular Road exploring the symbiotic relationship between his painting practice and film making. Additionally, Cullen is also working from a home studio on a sound based project that is due to be released in 2022.
