Open Exhibition | Conor Walton and Joan Finnegan at the Gallery at the Workhouse, Portumna

Open Exhibition at the Gallery at the Workhouse, Portumna
As part of the Shorelines arts festival – 15th – 18th September, we are holding a number of visual arts exhibitions and one of these is open to local artists. We will take in one piece of work to be hung on a wall (painting, photography, etching etc) on either of two evenings at the Irish Workhouse Centre in Portumna. (3-d work may be admitted by arrangement with a committee member)
The work must be ready to hang, with either a cord or wire at the back of the piece. You will be required to fill in a form on the night or you can print off the form in advance by going to our festival website: shorelinesartsfestival.com
This year we are waiving a fee but donations would be gratefully received.
We will be selling on the night of the launch, 4th September from 5-7pm, with a modest commission of 20%. Thereafter, we will put interested buyers in touch directly with the artists.
The exhibition will be open to the general public from 5th – 18th September from 11am – 4pm every day of the week.
Registration nights: 22nd and 23rd August from 6 – 7.30pm.
Two invited artists will also be exhibiting in the Gallery at the Workhouse: Conor Walton and Joan Finnegan.
