DESCRIPTION:Exploring West Cork’s hidden coves by kayak\, Bernadette gath
 ers clays and sea-altered debris\, which she later transforms through cera
 mic processes into vessels she calls a claytography of the coastline—t
 actile notations of time\, place\, and transformation.\nAlongside kiln-cas
 t glass pieces that embody her emotional and physical responses to ocean w
 aters\, the ceramics hold the energy\, texture\, and temporality of the si
 tes they emerge from. Each work speaks to geological time\, the impermanen
 ce of coastlines\, and the fragile balance between humanity and environmen
