Psychedelic, Hitchcock Belfast is an exhibition by Documentary Artist and Photojournalist, Lise McGreevy.
Using Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic, Samson and Goliath and many other of Belfast iconic landmarks as her muses; here McGreevy has blended 2 of the 5 bodies of work which make up this collection, to showcase the capital in a contrasting and diverse way.
Hitchcock Belfast is an film-noir ode to nitty-gritty core of the city, its landscapes and people. The second of the collections, Psychedelic Belfast, is a Warhol style inspired look at Belfast’s landmarks.
Launched at Parliament Buildings, Stormont in 2016; bespoke artworks from Psychedelic, Hitchcock Belfast were presented to the First and Deputy First Ministers, Arlene Foster and Martin McGuinness following personal tours of the exhibition in The Long Gallery.
