 g the life of her ancestor Charlotte Grace O’Brien (1845–1909)\, a wri
 ter and campaigner who advocated for Irish women emigrating to America. Th

 rien’s journeys between Ireland and New York and explores connections be
 tween migration\, women\, ecology and Irish national identity. The exhibit
 ion culminates O’Donovan’s Sample-Studios Spike Island Summer Residenc
 y\, delivered with Spike Island and Sirius Arts Centre.
