SUMMARY:Sharú | Group Exhibition at Tøn Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Sharú is a group exhibition bringing together the work of ten
artists. The exhibition reflects a multicultural and multinational group o
f artists working in Ireland today. Together they present painting drawing
sculpture and photography that explore ideas of identity roots and ongoin
g transformation.\nAt the heart of Sharú is the belief that the artist is
someone who transcends. From the first spark of an idea through engagemen
t with materials and into the final act of making the work the everyday pr
actice of art becomes an act of transformation.
