SUMMARY:SHIFT- Reflections of Unknowing | Patrick Conyngham at Íontas Art
 Gallery
DESCRIPTION:\n\nSHIFT Reflections of unknowing. Paintings by Patrick Conyng
ham\n29 Sept - 9 Nov 2026\nThe paintings are in the hidden language of ch
ange and its numerous manifestations and\nare an assimilation of that proc
ess in all its mystery. Sometimes the sources are known\,\nsometimes they
are not\, but either way they become part of the painting. They are a visu
al\ndiary with markers or indicators that occur naturally working with a m
ix of intention and\nintuition. Colour is used to heighten sensation and w
ith the aim of a raw dynamic\, they come\ninto being sequentially and orga
nically. They are an interpretative filtering of the world and\nuniverse a
 round us.
