“Shifting sands… a startling evolution” Kathrine Geoghegan, through her paintings, explores the habitats of the North Bull Island. Designated a UNESCO biosphere, the island is a unique treasure for plants and wildlife in Dublin Bay. Kathrine walked the island through all seasons following the life of mud flats, dune complexes, saltwater marshes, & grassland dunes. This inspiration & research has resulted in an exhibition of 43 paintings on aluminum & paper.
The exhibition can be viewed both online and by appointment at the gallery.
