SUMMARY:SKINFLUENCED | Zoë Dillon at Signal Arts Centre
DESCRIPTION:\nWorking in both paint and drawing\, this exhibition is influe
nced both by the imagery and specific colour palette of the language of ad
vertising by the cosmetic industry and the ‘pinkification’ of product
marketing to this generation. Painted images mirror the scale of screens t
hrough which these messages are disseminated. Larger works on paper in th
e exhibition arise from research into specific haircare routines\, the com
position influenced by defined modes of detail erasure and research into e
arly nineteenth century portrait and silhouette collage methods.\n\n\n\nOp
 ening: 28th May 6-8pm\n
