 Canice's Cathedral is home to stained-glass windows by both Alfred E. Chil
 d and Harry Clarke Studios. Between these makers\, however\, looms the gho
 stly figure of Harry Clarke (1889 - 1931) himself\, who had been taught by
  Child and whose stained-glass business operated long after his early deat
 h. In this talk\, Dr Waldron explores the creative force of Clarke's often
  dark and daring imagination in his pursuit of a new ethereal and carnal l
 anguage.
