 rcher Dr Alessia Cargnelli with Irish artists Pauline Cummins\, Marie Hanl
 on\, Patricia McKenna and Cecily Brennan.\nTaking materials from the Women
  Artists Action Group (WAAG)’s archive as a cue\, the talk will focus on
  the personal experience of Irish women artists working in the context of 
 1980s-1990s’ island of Ireland and beyond\, looking at their collaborati
 ve practice and self-advocacy as a strategy to counteract an hostile art e
 nvironment that was actively excluding women and other minoritised subject
 s.
