The Model is delighted to present the work of Hong Kong-based artist Angela Su for the first time in Ireland, in an intriguing and thought provoking screening of her film work The Afterlife of Rosy Leavers. Concepts around hallucination, mental illness, doppelgängers and artificial intelligence all coalesce in this film, which brings the viewer through Rosy’s life story. From an early fascination with spirals, experiences with hallucinatory psychedelics, schizophrenic episodes, and involvement in political activism, Rosy ultimately uploads her consciousness to cyberspace and lives out her life as an animated character.
