Would you like to explore culture and connect to people, artists, museums, libraries and creative places across Dublin city? The National Neighbourhood creates ways for people to see and make culture in their place with people they know. We build cultural projects with communities, connecting artists, groups, and villages with libraries, museums and creative places across Dublin City. These new experiences, explorations, and connections are the foundation for people to build creativity into their everyday lives.

COVID-19 is having a huge impact on the cultural life of our communities and our ability to stay connected. From May 2020 The National Neighbourhood will bring people together from across the city, through a 12-week online project with our cultural partners and artists – exploring all that the city has to offer, and keeping us connected through culture and conversation. The project features weekly discovery sessions and conversations, focusing on everything from history and heritage, to visual art, music, theatre, performance and more. At the end of the project we will help you identify your next creative or cultural steps, whether that is through developing a project idea with us, engaging in one of our other programmes, or using your new connections to the city’s cultural resources to continue your own adventure!
