SUMMARY:THE PASSING OF TIME | Mairead Geary at Kinsale Library
DESCRIPTION:\n\nMairead Geary is a Landscape Artist from Cobh Co Cork. Natu
ral landscapes and forms are the inspiration for all of her paintings. Mai
read take photographs of scenes where she find strata &amp\; dramatic mass
es of dark/light\, colour &amp\; texture. Her process tends to be intuitiv
e\, an ongoing negotiation with my materials\, constantly resolving confli
cts and tensions through the layering of colours and textual elements.
