SUMMARY:The Upside Down World | Cecilia Danell at Kevin Kavanagh
DESCRIPTION:Cecilia Danell\nThe Upside Down World \n\n\nOpening Reception T
 hursday 28 May at 5:30pm\n\n28 May - 27 June 2026\nKevin Kavanagh\, Dublin
\n\n"Last year\, during a forest walk in her homeland of Sweden\, Danell e
ncountered a lake from her childhood. It was uncharacteristically still. M
esmerised by its reflection and an uncanny sense of doubling\, it became t
he seed and the title painting of the show. These large-scale works ask us
to look anew at what’s familiar\, at what we think we know about everyt
hing we encounter." \n\nExtract from an accompanying text written by Siné
 ad Gleeson\n\nOpen\nTuesday to Saturday 11am -5pm
