Nuala O’Sullivan is a Limerick-based artist. She is a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design and holds a Fine Art Painting MA Degree. Her work uses both photography and painting to explore how concealed repression can seep through from the past. Alongside this the aesthetic and culture of the 1950s have strong visual resonances for her.
Nuala has exhibited extensively in Ireland and has shown in group exhibitions in France and New York. Collections include UL, Laois County Council, Northern Trust, Limerick County Council, LIT, and private collections. Nuala O’Sullivan is supported by Limerick City and County Councils.
