This Divine Land Opening the 11th of March 7pm to 9pm ‘This Divine Land’ an exhibition of paintings and drawings by artist Lauren Ciara McCullough at Arts for All Gallery, Belfast. This rising local artist has already attained numerous gallery representation, McCullough is a professional member of Visual Artists Ireland and has been a part of several group exhibitions all within just months of graduating. Recently she was awarded the Siobhan McQuade Memorial prize and had success in being shortlisted for the RDS 2021. McCullough is a graduate of the BA & MFA Course in Fine art at Ulster University. The sublime is the central motif of McCullough’s practice. A practice of questioning whether it is possible to convey something beyond self and the earthly reality, through image and paint? This exhibition hopes to capture something of the ethereal and spiritual nature of the Irish landscape via abstracted landscape paintings. McCullough hopes you can join her in the celebration of the opening of her debut Solo exhibition. This opportunity was funded by Arts For All via the Arts Council Northern Ireland.
