SUMMARY:This is a Show about Grief | Anne Marie Kelly at the Ghost Gallery
DESCRIPTION:\n\n"This is a Show about Grief" explores\, through various med
iums\, the experience and processing of grief. Two of my short films will
feature in an intimate\, immersive setting\, where the viewer will have t
ime to connect with the emotions being expressed in the work. The award w
inning\, MA\, which deals with the loss of a Mother who's son betrays his
upbringing by his violence\, and the autobiographical NOT\, which explores
the experience of being the other child in a family where a child with sp
ecial needs is born. These losses and grief live outside the experiences
with which we are more familiar\, and as such are lonelier\, quieter\, hid
 den.
