As a continuation-of-sorts from the CCAM-GMIT degree show B.C. 2021, a sample of work will be exhibited in the Galway Coach Station from June 17th-27th, 11am-5pm.
Transience is an opportunity for the 2021 Contemporary Art graduates of the Centre for Creative Arts and Media to introduce you to our work in a student-led exhibition. We are so pleased to be able to exhibit a sample collection from our degree work, in an alternative venue that we get to transform with art. We are embracing the space offered to us for this short-term installation; the ephemeral nature of pop-up exhibitions lending itself to our name. Over the past year we have been experiencing constant change in our surroundings, with our ability to adapt and connect revealing the resilience within us. By providing this encounter with art and our practices, it offers the audience a reminder to take in the space around you and engage with your current state of being. Through these strange times we appreciate the little things in quiet moments. We hope that Transience fulfills these ends.
