TRIBE coerces the visual language of popular science through a distilled painterly and colourist intervention that create artificial forms that take their cues from the microscopic world.

He describes is working as aiming to “make the non-visible that surround us visible, formalise it, contain it and animate it to create works that are clean, concise, elemental and rich. A tribe of forms that become signals for a range of varying visual ideas and references. As a painter I am interested in the visual language of the microscopic landscape to create portraits of the invisible”.
