SUMMARY:Tribes &amp\; Tribulations | Helen Merrigan Colfer at Ards Arts Cen
 tre
DESCRIPTION:\nIn this exhibition\, Helen Merrigan Colfer explores a persona
l journey from childhood to adulthood in the ongoing search for belonging
and self-acceptance.\n\n\n\nThrough emotionally resonant sculptures\, Colf
er reflects on the universal human desire to find one’s “Tribe.”\n\n
\n\nAudiences can expect totemic forms representing inner strength\, trans
formation\, and resilience. The works confront themes of conformity\, iden
tity\, and personal power\, moving through darkness and light.\n\n\n\nAs C
olfer asks\, “Is that journey complete or still underway?” the exhibit
ion invites reflection\, hope\, and a sense of shared humanity.\n
