Turner and Place: Landscapes in Light and Detail | Online Talk with the National Gallery of Ireland

Date(s) - 14/01/2021
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join curator Niamh MacNally for an online talk exploring the annual exhibition of Turner watercolours from the Vaughan Bequest.

In 2021, the Gallery’s exquisite collection of light-filled watercolours by J.M.W. Turner (1775–1851) will be shown alongside a group of topographical drawings by Francis Place (1647–1728). This is the first time that these two important collections have been shown together.

Due to the current restrictions on gatherings, this event will only be available online via ZOOM.

Ticket holders will be sent the ZOOM meeting details on the morning of the event. A moderator will be present online, and a waiting room will be set up. When you are admitted into the ZOOM session, please ensure that your microphone is on mute.

Contact education@ngi.ie with queries.

This event is presented in association with the exhibition Turner & Place: Landscapes in Light and Detail
