VideoBardo is a group of poets and artists based in Buenos Aires, whose objective is the archive, dissemination, research, theoretical debate, production and training on the language of videopoetry.
We define videopoetry as a genre within contemporary art of a hybrid and transdisciplinary nature related to experimental poetry, video art and new technologies.
The disciplines it covers are: videopoetry, poetry, performance, visual poetry and sound poetry.
The festival brings together different activities: single-channel videopoetry projections, video installations, poetry readings, workshops, poetic performances, visual poetry shows, talks and seminars. All these activities turn the festival into a space for the dissemination of the production of videopoetry artists and other related manifestations, bringing the public closer to the new productions of contemporary art.
It has been presented in important cultural centers, museums and festivals throughout Argentina and in 21 other countries.
