Water often alters our perspective as it displays the ever changing reflections of the world around us. Colour endeavours to re-ignite that inherently human sense of fascination for a world much larger than ourselves.

Water Colour is primarily a photographic exhibition, composed from images of aspects of water taken in six different countries, the exhibition also includes a video, created during the pandemic with different Brazilian artists, this new medium adds movement and music to the static images and it is through this collaboration with other artists that Elis has found an area exciting and challenging in her professional journey.

This online presentation is an opportunity to get to know this Brazilian artist living in Co Wicklow for quite some time, working independently to promote her solo exhibitions between Ireland and her native home of Brazil.

With a presentation of the collection of images followed by a video and finally open for Q&A. Zoom is the platform chosen for a 40 minute session, a space to understand how a creative process emerged in such a chaotic time inspired her to develop a new concept from a body of work to expand into an online video art form.

This exhibition is kindly supported by Dublin City Council and promoted by Facets of Brazil
