Festivals and Events Funding Workshop, Limerick

Limerick Arts Office invite you to a Festivals and Events Funding Workshop which will take place in Culture House on Friday. Audrey Keane from Creative Europe Desk at the Arts Council of Ireland and Marian Leydon from Failte Ireland will speak about forthcoming funding opportunities for Festivals and Special Events in Limerick in 2017.

This is a great opportunity for local Festival and Special Event organisers to meet with representatives from the Creative Europe Desk in the Arts Council and Failte Ireland to learn about available funding and grants. During the workshop attendees will learn about the required criteria for making applications and have time to ask questions about the application processes. There will also be time allocated for attendees to meet one another, network and share information during the course of the morning.

10:30 – 11:30 – Creative Europe by Audrey Keane, The Arts Council
11:30 – 12:00 – Break Tea/Coffee
12:00 – 13:00 – Failte Ireland Regional Festivals & Events Scheme – Marian Leydon
13:00 – 14:00 – Lunch/Networking – Finish
Tea/Coffee and Sandwiches will be provided.

The Speakers:
Marian Leydon is the Client Services Manager for Festivals and Events at Failte Ireland. Marian will be providing up to date information on the forth coming Failte Ireland Regional Festivals and Events Scheme which opens shortly.

Audrey Keane is one of the information and advice officers at the Creative Europe Desk Ireland’s Culture Office. The Culture Office is co-funded by the EU Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and the Arts Council which houses its office. Audrey will be providing information about European funding opportunities for Festivals and Special Events in 2017.
