From the Burren, with love… | Card-Making Workshop at Burren College of Art

This three days card-making workshop with Sember Lockwood is open to all mixed media practitioners and hobbyists interested in creating original little works of art inspired by the Burren and with the beauty of it in mind. Note-cards created in this workshop reflect the contrast between color blocks and more organic shapes of found objects. In essence, we will built mini-collages.

In this class, we will experience the theory of design and the delight of the unexpected as they come together to form a cohesive image. There will be some discussion, tromping about the Burren landscape to find treasures and actual cutting, gluing and painting. Please bring any decorative papers and bits and bobs that bring you joy.
