Funding | Wexford County Council – Craft Scheme 2019

Closing date for receipt of applications: Wednesday 24 July, 4pm.

Wexford County Council wishes to announce a new grant scheme as part of the Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2022. Wexford County Council has developed a five year Cultural and Creativity Strategy 2018-2022 in association with Creative Ireland.

As part of Wexford’s 2019 Creative Ireland programme we invite applications for grants that will develop bodies of work with a public interface/engagement. The nominal amount to any one project will be between €1,000 and €3,000. A key aspect of the grant scheme is to strengthen the status of the craft and design sector as a vital part of cultural, social and economic life in county Wexford.

Wexford County Council are now inviting applications from community organisations, creatives and practioners who will engage in craft and design across a variety of disciplines with communities.

Proposals must demonstrate the below key factors:
o How the proposal will develop public awareness of craft mediums, techniques and design processes
o How the proposal will work with the community in exploring creativity and developing new skills
