Brenda is a practicing solicitor dealing exclusively in copyright for media, the arts and entertainment sectors since 2000 and is a consultant solicitor with Colleary and Co Solicitors. As in-house solicitor in RTE she worked on recordings of the complete works of Seamus Heaney read by the poet as well as on many documentaries and films. She worked with Ireland’s entry to the Venice Biennale 2018, has drafted agreements for exhibitions in major Dublin galleries, and sat on the board of the Black Church print studio in Dublin. Brenda has provided training for arts organisations including VAI, DCCOI, the National Sculpture Factory and Words Ireland. She also trains lawyers in copyright in BPP college in London.
