Jacqui McIntosh (Curator Feedback / Drawing / Painting)
Jacqui McIntosh has worked as a curator and writer since 2003 and currently works at Drawing Room, London with a focus on the exploration, appreciation and expression of the language of drawing. Curated exhibitions include Drawn Out, (2021), Modern Nature (2019) and From the Inside Out (2018) at Drawing Room; Figure It Out, Tannery Projects (2017) and See Think Different, a 3-year collaborative project between Drawing Room and global media company UBM (2012 – 2015). Research areas include mediumistic and automatic drawing practices in both historical and contemporary art which fed into the Hayward touring exhibition Not Without My Ghosts, The Artist as Medium at Drawing Room (2020). Her writing has appeared in newspapers, art publications and catalogue essays for galleries and artists. She also has her own artistic practice, working predominately in drawing, print and collage.
