Ruth Carroll (The Dock, Leitrim)

Ruth Carroll is Director/Curator at The Dock in Carrick on Shannon since September 2021. She is the former Curator at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin.

Curator’s Areas of Interest:

This year I’d particularly like to meet artists from under-represented communities and artists that have returned to practice after time away. My curatorial interests lie in the possibility of the rural as a place of production, the issues of labour and the ecological. Open to speaking to all artists working in all media.

Ruth Carroll is taking part in Speed Curating on Wednesday 6th October

Please Note:
VAI members attending Get Together 2021 can book up to 3 Speed Curating Sessions and 2 Clinics only. If you book more than this we will need to call you to cancel the extra bookings. Please do not over book as this will lead to delays for other artists and may result in other artists missing their chance to book when they are viewing.

A Get Together General Admission ticket is needed to attend Speed Curating and Specialist Clinics. If you do not book your General Admission ticket your Speed Curating and Clinic Bookings will not be valid.
