Marysia Wieckiewicz-Carroll (Independent Curator)

Marysia Więckiewicz-Carroll is an independent curator and art writer. She was one of
the co-editors of Paper Visual Art Journal between 2014-2018. She the former
director and curator of Berlin Opticians Gallery, Dublin. Together with Nathan O’Donnell she co-edits Numbered Editions – a new imprint for artists’ writing across forms, supported by the Arts Council Literature Project Award.


Curator’s Areas of Interest:

I am particularly interested in supporting and facilitating emerging and early-stage career artists, whose practice focuses on an exploration of the impact of political and social structures on our identity.

Marysia Więckiewicz-Carroll is taking part in Speed Curating on Thursday 7th October

Please Note:
VAI members attending Get Together 2021 can book up to 3 Speed Curating Sessions and 2 Clinics only. If you book more than this we will need to call you to cancel the extra bookings. Please do not over book as this will lead to delays for other artists and may result in other artists missing their chance to book when they are viewing.

A Get Together General Admission ticket is needed to attend Speed Curating and Specialist Clinics. If you do not book your General Admission ticket your Speed Curating and Clinic Bookings will not be valid.
