Intermediate Textile Screen Print with Mel Bradley at NCAD

This practical workshop will focus on enhancing student’s skills and design abilities with the textile silk screen printing process. The course provides students with an opportunity to develop confidence and gain valuable experience so as to enable them to work independently. The course is suitable for textile print designers wishing to refresh there knowledge in this area and would like to develop their ideas and practical skills.

This practical studio workshop involves students expanding on ideas and research undertaken in preparation for development and printing. Students taking this course must have prepared their design ideas for discussion on Day 1. Sample design ideas could include; working from independent source materials (i.e. botanical, architectural, found objects.) students will develop their chosen theme into designs (i.e. .repeats, placement prints) suitable for textile printing.
