A very dynamic and highly enjoyable introduction to major artists and movements from Antiquity to Early Modernism. Besides rediscovering famous work of arts in a new light and learning their fascinating context, students will also discover female artists from each period, as well as other less recognised art movements happening simultaneously in the rest of the world.

– Genre painting of the Dutch Golden Age and the Baroque
– 18th century to 19th century, Romanticism
– Mannerism – Rococo – Neoclassicism – Romanticism – The Academy
– Impressionism

Dates: Wednesday 23th of January 2019 (10 weeks)
Times: 20.30 to 22.00 every Wednesday
