Introduction to Block Printing Workshop, Dublin 8

In this one day workshop Fiona Walsh, will demonstrate how to use block printing to add colour and texture to household textiles and surfaces. Participants will leave the workshop with the skills and techniques to use printing to spice up their living spaces.

The participants will learn the basics of block printing. They will design and create “one of a kind “ block prints on rubber using various techniques. Participants will experiment with pattern, and will each leave with fabric samples and printed tea towels featuring their own design work.
