Solstice Arts Centre is looking to establish a panel of visual technicians for exhibition and installation.
You will have professional experience working within the visual arts sector. You will have the ability to set up, operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment and related systems for installation within our galleries and public spaces. Within this, Solstice are also looking for Highly IT-literate technicians, proficient with both Microsoft and Mac computers and operating systems. You will be knowledgeable about various analogue and digital film formats. Whilst Solstice will provide relevant training, ideally you have a sound understanding of, commitment to, Health and Safety regulations and have relevant certification/accreditations.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills, you will build rapport with colleagues and external artists and stakeholders easily, understanding their needs and supporting their successful installation.
