Dublin City council Culture Company are seeking a digital communications specialist on a contract for service to help achieve our ambitious aims to connect the citizens of Dublin through culture and conversation.

Collaborating with citizens, communities, cultural organisations, businesses, and Dublin City Council itself, our work is focused on embedding cultural experiences and increasing cultural participation throughout Dublin’s neighbourhoods.

Working as part of a small Communications team, and reporting to the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating the organisation’s digital communications, including content management for a number of websites and social platforms as well as digital engagement analysis and reporting. A major aspect of the role is to moderate the Dublin City cultural map project, which consists of a dynamic database of the city’s cultural information and a public-facing website of the city’s cultural assets.

This is a part-time contract for services. Dublin City council Culture Company envisage it to require, on average, three days a week, with the equivalent of one day per week spent on social media, one on website management, and one on the cultural map. The role is for a period of 10 months, commencing as soon as possible following appointment, and the total budget available for contract for services fee is €15,000
