Dublin City Council Culture Company wishes to recruit an Engagement Coordinator, under a fixed term, full time, two-year contract.

As one of the DCCCC Engagement team, you are key to activating our values throughout your work. You will be assigned to various engagement activities (such as the Culture Near You Map, 14 Henrietta Street engagement & programming as well as Dublin City Council Culture Company Engagement) and your focus will be on delivering highly engaging and welcoming events that enable people to connect with each other and with culture in their local areas. A key element of our engagement activities is their informal nature. This approach makes possible honest conversations, where people feel comfortable to share their ideas, reflections, concerns and desires for their local area, their community, and their city. The role of Engagement Coordinator means you will organise, facilitate and host engagement activities and you will be responsible for ensuring projects run professionally, efficiently and effectively so that the conditions are created to activate and empower people through their participation.

Dublin City Council Culture Company is a new company established to create and deliver cultural initiatives in Dublin City, and to initiate, implement and manage cultural programmes and buildings for the benefit of the citizens of Dublin, locally and citywide. Collaborating with citizens, communities, cultural organisations, businesses, and Dublin City Council itself, the company’s work is focused on embedding cultural experiences and increasing cultural participation throughout Dublin’s neighbourhoods.

Post Status: Fixed Term Contract (full-time), two years.
Location: Dublin City Council Culture Company, 14 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1.
Reports to: Head of Engagement, Dublin City Council Culture Company.
Salary: €31,200 gross p.a.
