Job Vacancy | Exhibition Designer at the Little Museum of Dublin
Application deadline: Wednesday, 20 March.
Ireland’s number one museum is looking for an experienced and capable Exhibition Designer. This is an exciting role for someone with an unusual skill-set.
The Exhibition Designer is responsible for the design, install and management of the museum’s creative and commercial design projects including exhibitions, sponsorship packages, merchandise and museum maintenance.
Experience working within a fast-paced environment is essential, as is curiosity and can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be ambitious, charming and technically superb. You will have strong interpersonal skills and experience with large deadline-based design projects.
If you don’t like DIY – or jumping onto ladders to hang pictures – this is not a job for you, as maintenance of our permanent collection is a key part of the role. Occasional responsibilities will include team management, public speaking, tour guiding and fixing computer (Mac) problems.
Essential requirements include:
- 2-3 years design experience within a relevant environment
- Outstanding ability in In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience in achieving ambitious KPIs
- Strong visual sense and commercial experience
- Energetic and enthusiastic manager and team player
Interest in Irish history a plus.
Salary: DOE.
Full Time. 1 year w/ view to permanent contract.
