Offaly County Council seeks to engage the services of a marketing consultant, with a specialism in film, to assess and update the promotional capacity of Offaly County Council’s flagship film project, FilmOffaly.
Now in its tenth year, FilmOffaly is one of Ireland’s leading county film commissions, operating, predominantly, within a rural setting in the heart of Ireland. In addition to the disbursement of the annual FilmOffaly award for a short film script, currently valued at €10,000, FilmOffaly holds a comprehensive database on a range of Offaly locations and professional filmmakers and crew who reside in the county. They offer practical support and advice on helping source locations in Offaly. FilmOffaly’s dedicated website (www.filmoffaly.ie) provides further information on the credit list of films made in Offaly since 2008.
The successful candidate will review and assess FilmOffaly’s current promotional material, with a view to recommending a strategy for targeting key stakeholders (from film, business and tourism).
A fully inclusive fee in the sum of €5,500 to include all travel, subsistence, and any other costs that may arise will be paid to the successful candidate.
Applicants should submit a detailed letter outlining the approach you would take to fulfilling the brief. Include a copy of CV (maximum 2 pages) plus samples of previous work. Please send by email with subject line FilmOffaly marketing proposal, for the attention of the Arts Officer, to the email@example.com.
