Tate Gallery are looking for an experienced and motivated procurement professional to manage procurement across the Tate estate. Working within the Finance and Estates division you’ll be acting as the sole procurement presence at Tate, providing advice and support to all stakeholder groups across the organisation in respect of compliance and procurement best practice to ensure that, through procurement and commercial arrangements, organisational and service objectives and best value are achieved.
As the main point of contact for advice and guidance on procurement strategy and contract needs across Tate, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement (and tendering) for minor works, goods and services, and provide dedicated support to senior staff in respect of any tendering requirements that may arise.
With experience of public sector procurement and commercially astute, you will have experience leading tendering exercises including those run under the OJEU regulations as well as the implementation of sourcing strategies across a variety of spend areas. You will have experience of negotiating and managing contracts, working in conjunction with Tate’s in-house legal team and other advisors as required. Your excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and communication skills will ensure you work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and are able to effectively influence key stakeholders across Tate.
